According to Masatoshi Kimata, President of the Japanese construction machinery makers, Kubota Corp. plans to spend ¥20 billion to build three new plants in the United States by 2022.
The three new factories of Kubota, a company we often go to visit during our Japan Study Tours, are for the production of compact machinery for housing construction, engines for construction machinery and multipurpose four-wheel vehicles.
